DOn't buy it if you want the ubisoft-launcher pest.still can't configure my joypad (the axis are inverted), tried with xbox-controller -> still not working.Even a hack in the config files did not allow the change of the axis (up -> character moves down and vice versa) and this is a pain in the ***.at all i was really really dissappointed, still i'd love to play this game... but all my supportrequests (two, one has been deleted, the other is unanswered....) have been ignored. don't buy!. Bought this game when it was first released and played it fine, now ive just tried to download and play it again and i have to have UPlay.......ok....UPLAY says that my game key is invalid and so now i cant play my game. great job.. This is not a good game.. Flashback is a remake of an old time classic. Sadly, I can't recommend this. And it's not because I'm a fan of the original who's hating on new things which are introduced in this remake. The new controls system and levelups are fine with me. But what really bugs me about this remake is it's technical side, the game graphics are blurry, the gameplay is bugged. I stopped after 30th attempt at finishing stealth mission. The stealth executions just don't work, Conrad just does his takedown animation and the enemy just keeps going. I can't understand how they allowed this bug into the game. Pros:- Nostalgia- Responsive controls- Interesting story- Fast-paced gameplayCons:- Bugs- Blurry graphics- Mediocre voice actingI'd say buy this after sometime when the bugs would be fixed, but it's 4 years after release and they're still here.. Thought this game was too short when it first came out.That hasn't changed.The aim is a bit awkward, not quite giving all the angles.The gameplay in '92 was state of the art, not any more. Ubisoft could have made this better when giving Flashback a facelift, instead you have a 90's game with better graphics and that is it I'm afraid.. This game looks good but you will soon find out it is just a polished turd.Dont waste your time as you will not be able to finish it or want to finish it after the buggy, awkward hell you have to put up with to play it. I had memories of the origianl, which i loved and had high hopes for this when it came out, but soon found out memories should remain in the past. This was a nightmare. Awful controls that sometimes work and sometimes dont, i use a Xbox controller for pc so i expect it should, to dreadful voice actiing and a glitchy mess that didnt allow me to load a save once i hit experience level 15. i gave up only to try again recenlty thinking maybe things have changed.They havent. All problems are still there, including not being able to load anything once i hit level 15! uninstalling now in frustration as i dont expect ubisoft will fix anything, i mean why fix a game nobody wants to play?! ths best thng they could do is remove the POS from the store to prevent others from buying it. but they wont so im tell you DONT BUY THIS. Youll regret it.. Perfect Remake of one of my favorite Classic Game.. A childhood memory brought back. Loving it.. Stunning!!! Truly stunning!!!!!!! This is a text-book, step-by-step tutorial in how to completely destroy a classic, original, ground-breaking masterpiece--which the original, 1993 Flashback clearly is. The team behind this MUST be hung for treason (or, at least, never be allowed to make a computer game again)! Terrible!!! Just terrible!!!!!! If you buy this, you deserve all the curses that Allah--the 'god' of 'peace'--shall surely bestow upon you, effendi. Terrible.
